College of Nursing Northern Division

What if you could create an opportunity to train nurses who would help save lives for generations to come?

Northeast Community College is partnering with the University of Nebraska Medical Center to build a College of Nursing Northern Division to address a projected nursing shortage and increase the quality of health care in the region. With this facility, UNMC will bring bachelor’s through doctorate level nursing degree programs to northeast Nebraska. The College of Nursing Northern Division will allow recent high school graduates, place-bound students, and nurses who wish to continue their education to take advantage of opportunities never before available in this region, while strengthening existing Northeast Community College nursing programs.

During the next several months, hundreds of volunteers will be asking individuals, foundations, and corporations to support the College of Nursing Northern Division. Volunteers will be visiting people throughout Nebraska, plus key alumni and friends throughout the United States. This will be time consuming; however, we feel the effort is worthwhile, and the time is right for such a campaign. In addition, a campaign study conducted by The Clements Group, a nationally renowned resource development organization, indicates that individuals across the state are willing and able to support our effort.

We are asking you to lend your support to this valuable endeavor. Now is the time to invest in the future of healthcare in northeast Nebraska.

Please join us in solving the puzzle for healthy lives and healthier communities!
